Guarantee and Warranties


Recone Kits:

30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Recone kits are backed by our 30 day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, within 30 days, we will replace or refund the purchase price.
Our recone kits are designed for installation by the end user. The person installing this kit should possess a minimum amount of mechanical ability. If you are unsure about installing this kit, please consult a repair center in your area. This warrantee will only cover properly installed recone kits.

2 Year Warrantee
The Pro Parts recone kit is guaranteed for two years from the date of original purchase against malfunction due to defects in workmanship and materials. If, in the unfortunate event this recone kit should malfunction, Pro Parts will repair or replace the recone kit (at our discretion) without charge for materials or labor, if the entire speaker itself, frame and all (not including the cabinet), is delivered postage paid and to the original place of purchase. Return postage will be charged to the sender before shipping the speaker back. Proof of purchase of the recone kit is required. This warrantee does not cover appearance and finish of the kit, burned or overpowered voice coils due to abuse. Nor does it cover cone and/or coil damage as a result of over excursion do to negligence from improperly designed enclosures, overpowering, abuse, or malfunctioning of other equipment, nor does it extend to incidental or consequential damages. If you abuse it, we won't fix it for free. Repairs done by unauthorized repair centers will not be covered and will void this warrantee.

Recone kits may be returned for a refund if they have not been installed and are in the exact same condition as when they left our warehouse and without any extra writing or extra stickers on the product packaging / box. Items must be in new, resalable condition with all packaging. Items that have been modified, abused, overpowered or physically damaged will not be covered under this warrantee.

If you need to return an item, you do not need to call or e-mail, just include a copy of your sales receipt along with a note stating why you are returning the item(s) and what you would like us to do with the return item(s), i.e. repair, refund or replacement. This is required for all returned items, no exceptions.

Sound Speaker Repair is proud to provide high quality replacement diaphragms. In the unfortunate event that you receive an item that you are not completely happy with or has failed prematurely, you are covered by our 30 day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. Non-defective items must be in new, resalable condition with all packaging. Items that have been modified, abused, overpowered or physically damaged will not be covered under this warrantee.

Genuine Eminence Limited Warrantee:

All Genuine Eminence loudspeakers are supported by a 7-year warrantee against any manufacturer's defect in the continental United States. All retail customers should contact your Eminence supplier for warrantee and service information.

The Genuine Eminence warrantee remains in effect for seven years from the date of the first consumer purchase (in the US) with the original bill of sale.
Loudspeakers covered under the genuine Eminence limited warrantee must be returned with the original bill of sale and a note explaining why the item is being returned. You do not need to call or email us for warrantee returns. Item must be ship prepaid to:

Items sent to Sound Speaker Repair without being prepaid or without the original bill of sale will be refused and returned to the shipper at the shipper's expense. If you do not have the original bill of sale, see the (Eminence warranties without an original bill of sale) section below.

Your warrantee covers all defects in material and workmanship except: damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, product modification or neglect, or damage incurred during shipment; damage resulting from the performance of repairs by unauthorized Genuine Eminence recone/repair centers; claims based upon any misrepresentation by the seller; any Genuine Eminence product on which the date code/serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.

Eminence will pay all labor and material expenses for all repairs covered by this warrantee. Please be sure to save the original shipping cartons. A charge will be made if replacement cartons are requested. You are responsible for transporting your product for repair or arranging for its transportation and for payment of any initial shipping charges. We will pay the return shipping charges if repairs are covered by the warrantee.

Eminence's liability is limited to the repair or replacement, at our option, of any defective product and shall not include incidental or consequential damage of any kind.

This warrantee gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Eminence warranties without an original bill of sale:
Items covered under the genuine Eminence limited warrantee without the original bill of sale must be returned to Eminence, NOT Sound Speaker Repair. In this case the manufacturing date of the item itself will establish the beginning of the warrantee period.
