KILOMAX PRO 18A  Professional Series

This is the Eminence Kilomax Pro 18A, 8 ohm subwoofer that handles 1250 watts of power and 2500 watts of peak power. It's not just the 4-in voice coil and the huge 109 oz magnet that makes this speaker handle the power, but the magnet bottom plate is vented and attached to the massive heat sink mounted in the center of the cone. The air movement around the heat sink from the 18-in cone along with the vented bottom plate is what makes this speaker handle the power.
