The LAB 12 is one incredible subwoofer. Often overlooked, this sub can be use for home, car and pro audio applications. Because of the 6 ohm load, you get louder volume then an 8 ohm subwoofer without the strain on your amplifier that a 4 ohm subwoofer may have.

With a usable frequency all the way down to 25Hz from a small 12-in woofer you will get that chest pounding thump where it can be used, in your house not your neighbor. Larger 15 and 18 inch subwoofers produce such a large sound wave, by the time the sound wave is fully developed, its outside your house or car and down the street. Sure that great if you just want to be a nuisance, but if you want to hear and feel the bass, then use a 12 inch subwoofer.
